The Group meets at 10:35am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at the Gupshill, on the road out of Tewkesbury; they very kindly let us use their little meeting room in exchange for buying cups of coffee etc. There is also a levy of 50p per person per attendance, that we pay to our u3a.

We are a group of about 12 people who enjoy discussing topics of local and national interest; recent topics have included “Euthanasia”, “Cashless Society”, “The West v Russia”, and the more light-hearted “How important are holidays”.

Directions to venue. The Gupshill is on the Gloucester Road, about a mile outside of Tewkesbury; a Tudor building set back on the west side of the road. There is plenty of car parking space, with two entrances to the car park. Stagecoach number 41 buses also stop near the Gupshill.
