Committee members are elected by the membership at each AGM. . New committee members are always welcome and are often needed to shadow existing members in their various roles. They may apply and join at any time.

Vacant Committee posts
Posts vacant from AGM December 2024, but volunteers required before then to understudy roles.
Chair
Provides the inclusive and democratic leadership for our u3a.
Business Secretary
The link between our Committee and the Third Age Trust/national u3a.
Minutes Secretary
Arranges Committee meetings and the necessary minutes and records for those meetings.
NOTE. For several years, the Business Secretary and Minutes Secretary roles have been carried out by one person, but can be split between two people.
Post currently vacant.
Vice Chair.
Support Chairperson and other committee members, and stand in when necessary.
Vacant NON-commitee Posts
- Really Useful Group (RUG). A team of individuals that can occasionally be called upon to help set up chairs at meetings, assist recruitment events, or other tasks. Extra volunteers are always welcome.
